Born to a family of designers, artists and writers in San Diego, its no wonder Shannon Stevenson has chosen a career in artistic design. She proved to possess artistic talent, creating mature photo realistic works at an early age that gathered respect from established artists. Following a family tradition of design, Shannon proceeded to study clothing design and pattern drafting in college and worked in the fashion industry for a brief stint.

Moving to San Francisco’s vibrant art scene in 1993, Shannon eventually began to feel the pull back to fine art and started a series of photo realistic studies to firm up her technique and mastery of media from watercolors to oils. She found digital art programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator to be a perfect combination of fine art and technology. A progression in her artistic expression has brought her to graphic design, where her design skills, talent for illustration, and commercial marketing prove to be a successful combination.

Shannon has lived in San Francisco for over 18 years and is continually amazed by the Bay Area’s vibrant culture and incredible natural beauty. Living in an area with such an abundance of art, music and community inspires her artist endeavors. Her new focus continues her emergence in the digital art realm to include 3D modeling and animation.
